B-17 Flying Fortress - to those knowledgable on history, it invokes powerful images. Majestic formations of power never before seen in history, flown by boys scarcely out of college. The rumbling of engines, the banging of machine guns, the whistle of bombs dropping. Cursing, praying, desperate tension, terror, relief of the wheels touching the ground. This game puts you in the command of a Fortress, and later, the whole strategic bombing offensive.

B-17:W&P is a turn-based combination of 3 inter-related games: the tactical game, the strategic game, and the role-playing game. It is a way of re-creating WWII history - or changing it. This is effectively a free game, the price of registration is simply emailing me the request and letting me correspond with you on the game.

1. Create a temp directory to store these files in.
2. Download b17game.zip - Game itself

Install the Game

1. Unzip b17game.zip. This file can be easily unzipped via the WinZip utility found (among other places) at home.cnet.com
   
   
2. Run the setup program to actually install the game. It will prompt you for the directory to install in. Your "install directory" can be c:\SWB\b17 or whatever else you choose.
   
   

Clean up and Enjoy

1. Remove the temp directory and it's contents.
2. Click Start, then Programs, then B-17 to play.
